Wicked Challenge

I decided to participate in the May Wicked Demo Challenge. Qbee's Quest is the host this month. Hop on over to her blog to see her samples.

The first challenge was to use the color combination of Baja Breeze, So Saffron, and Ruby Red that was given by Qbee's Quest.

I created this scrapbook with those colors. I used the Great Friend Stamp set , the Sweet Slumber Designer Series Paper, the Daisy die cut with my big Shot, Scallop edge punch, Corner Punch, So Saffron Ribbon, and a Baja Breeze Corduroy button. Over all I am very happy with this page. I used it as one of the projects at this month's stamp club.

The second Challenge was to use Qbee's Quest pattern to make this cute butterfly box that coordinates with the exclusive SU! Sizzix Beautiful Butterflies die cut.

I printed the pattern on Baja Breeze Card stock, cut it out and stamped the Manhattan flower stamp randomly all over the box. I then sponged the edges with Chocolate Chip ink. I cut the butterfly with my Big Shot and sponged the edges and tied craft ribbon around and glued it to the box. Simple and cute!

For the third Challenge we were to use Qbee's Quest card sketch.

I just realized I left out one part of the card sketch. Oh well it is close enough.

The card base is Kraft, I used Kiwi Kiss, Baja Breeze, and Whisper White for the other layers. I randomly stamped the Manhattan flowers in Baja Breeze, Kiwi Kiss, and Sahara Sand on Whisper White. I stamped the large flower on Baja Breeze 3 times and cut it out and layered different areas. It is hard to tell in the picture but the dimension really makes the flower pop. I also sponged the edges of the layers of the flower.

Well those are my Wicked projects. Hope it inspires you to create today!

Father's Day Scrapbook Page

This is the third layout we did at my National Scrapbooking class. It is a Father's page.

My Dad didn't golf so I can't use this for my dad but Eric and I just found out this week that we are expecting a child so I guess I should get Eric some golf clubs so we can put pictures of him and our baby on this page sometime in the future.

I hope you enjoyed the scrapbook inspiration this week. Enjoy and let me know if you want to purchase the kit.

Mother's Day Scrapbooking

Here is another one of the pages I created for my National Scrapbooking class. This one I thought could be used for a Mother's Day page although it could be used for many things.

I used Craft, Baja Breeze, and Chocolate chip card stock. Friend's 24-7 Stamp Set and Parisian Breeze Designer Series Paper.

Sorry my picture is a little crocked.

National Scrapbook Month

Here is the Birthday layout we did at my National Scrapbooking Day class at the beginning of May.

For this two page spread we used the Sweet Slumber Designer Series Paper, Ruby Red, So Saffron, & Baja Breeze Card stock, Baja Breeze Ribbon, Whisper White ribbon, sizzlet cupcakes dies, and a Sizzix alphabet die.
I still have a couple of scrapbook kits for anyone that is interested. I will post the other two layouts over the next couple of days. Email me if you want to purchase one.

And Many Mower

Last week I was on Vacation so I wasn't able to post any new ideas. I finally got around to taking some pictures of my creations last night and uploaded them this morning so I could share them with you.

I used the And Many Mower Stamp Set from the Occasions Mini Catalog and the Manchester Designer Series Paper for both of these cards.

I have been working on my coloring with the water color crayons and blender pens so the golf card was a perfect practice card. It will also make a good Father's Day card for someone.

The grass idea on the Birthday card was an idea that I saw on sluman's card at Splitcoaststampers. My bosses birthday is this week so it looks like this may be his card.

I have been working on the wicked challenge for demonstrators over on Splitcoast and I am hoping to finish up this week, but I'm not sure if I will actually get to it since I am heading to a Ladies' Retreat on Friday and tonight and tomorrow night are already busy. I just have one more project to do so I might need to squeeze it in so I can post pictures. We'll see!
