Reason to Smile

I've had a busy month but that doesn't mean that I haven't had time to play with my stamps.

This month which is almost over SU! offered an exclusive stamp set, Reason to Smile for $5.oo with a $50.00 purchase. Who can pass up such a beautiful stamp set? Not me! I actually had several samples to share with you but just hadn't had the time to post them. If you want this set make sure to contact me by tomorrow to place your order.

Also make sure to come back this week for the Stylyn' Stampin' Blog Hop. This month we are featuring our favorite items from the Holiday catalog. If you haven't recieved a Holiday Catalog make sure to contact me because you won't want to miss it because it is packed with awesome items for Halloween, Fall, Thanksgiving, and Christmas.

See you Thursday!

Nesting

Yup, I am nesting. No, I'm not pregnant but I just couldn't pass up this cute stamp set with the cute nest & eggs.

I said that I would be back if I had time well, I lied. I didn't even need much time to share this because it was already created and all I had to do is type up this blog. This is another Fancy Fan sample that I had made. If you look closely you will also see that I used the new Paper Piercing Mat Pack on this card too. Maybe I'll use this card for stamp club, hmmm we shall see. Off to my craft room I go.

Fancy Fan

I thought I would share a simple card with you today. This is one of the samples I made using my fancy fan embossing folder.

I'm super excited because in just 8 days I will be leaving for the SU! convention with my grandma and Olivia. I'm already anticipating all the creative ideas I will come home with. I hope to share at least one more project with you this week but I definitely have a busy week with Stamp club, working on my swaps, work, and taking care of my boys. So here is to hoping I am super woman! HaHa!

July Blog Hop

I can't believe another month has come and gone. If this is one of many stops you've already made on the blog hop, I hope you are enjoying everyone's beautiful creations. If this is your first stop make sure to stop by each blog and leave a comment so all the ladies know you enjoy their hard work.

For my first project, I am sharing a card I made with some leftover material from a card class. I had the pre-cut card stock lying on my desk and it kept getting moved around and I kept having this nagging feeling like I needed to use the pieces before they just got swept into my scrap pile. So I put myself to the challenge to use the pieces for a new card.

This is what I came up with using the Blooming with Kindness stamp set. It is a great birthday card to have on hand.

Items Used:
Stamp Set- Blooming with Kindness
Card Stock: Elegant Eggplant, Wisteria Wonder, Whisper White
Ink: Stazon, Elegant Eggplant, Wisteria Wonder
Other: Big Shot, Chevron Embossing Folder, Garden Green Marker

The second project I made is a project I've been wanting to make for a year. Last year at the SU! convention one of the presenters made an adorable cork board covered with our fabric. I don't remember what happened to my picture of it but this is my version.
I glued some cork board onto some chip board and then covered it with some Timeless Portrait Fabric, added the Cherry Cobbler Seam Binding so that it could be hung. To add a little decorating I die cut the largest label from the Apothecary Accents die, a butterfly from the Beautiful Butterflies die, and a couple small butterflies from the Beautiful Wings Embosslit. I planned to glue some of the small butterflies onto some thumb tacts but I can't find mine. I guess we'll have to use our imagination for now.

Items Used:
Timeless Portrait Fabric, Big Shot, Beautiful Butterflies Die, Beautiful Wings Embosslit, Large Peals, Cherry Cobbler Seam Binding

I hope you enjoyed my projects today. Make sure to hop on over to my friend Tonya's blog.

Green Thumb

Like I mentioned before, I do not have a green thumb and I have a dead mini apricot tree to prove it. So stamping flowers are my kind of flowers! These Summer Smooches won't wilt away any time soon and that gives me plenty of time to hoard this birthday card, I mean find the right person to send a birthday card to.

I made this card with Island Indigo and Daffdil Delight card stock, Summer Smooches DSP, Daffodil Delight Seam Binding, Scallop Circle Die, Circle Die, and my Big Shot.

Well I am off to keep cleaning out some of my retired stamps and accesories so I can have a stamp sale soon.
