Thankful

Its been a little while since I have blogged but I just hadn't had the time and then I got sick. I still have a little cough but I am thankful to be feeling so much better.

With being sick and having a busy schedule, I just haven't had the time to sit down and create anything. These two projects are from my October Stamp Club.

On this first card I used the stained glass technique. First you emboss your image on Vellum and then you turn over the image and use markers to color your image. When you turn over the image it looks beautiful. This is a simple layout for a card but I wanted the focus to be on the image. I just love this new set from the mini catalog. Thanksgiving is just one of my favorite holidays. What is greater than eating delicious food, spending time with family, and remembering all the things you are so thankful for.

For my second project I created this pop up card. Now I have seen these on www.splitcoaststampers.com many times but never understood how you would give it away if it didn't fit in an envelope. Well after reading the instructions I found out that the card folds down and fits in a regular envelope. So I went to work and created this card. Its all set to be sent to someone for this thankful season.

Well hope you enjoyed my creations, please let me know if you have any questions. Don't forget to check out my website for this week's Deal of the Week!

My Digital Studio

I recently got the My Digital Studio program from SU!, to be honest I wasn't sure I would even like it because I'm not into digital scrapbooking but I thought I would try it out anyway.

This weekend I created these pages from a Disneyland trip last October. I used one of the simply scrapbooking kits that came with the package, some additional stamps, punches, and embelishments. I removed some of the stuff that was automaticly on the premade pages so that it better matched my theme. It was simples and easy to use. Now I need to decide whether or not I want to print these pages out or do I just keep them digitally on my computer. Hmmm.... the choices.

If you have any questions please let me know, I will be happy to answer them.
