Golden Oldies

I bought this stamp set because I found it amusing. I wasn't even sure who I would use it to make a card for, I still don't know who this card will be for but I thought I better get out this new stamp set and ink it up. Maybe I will send it to my Father-in-law for his Birthday. The sentiment is from the Birthday Count from the Under $10 page in the Catalog, I earned it free with my $40.00 order from the Mini Catalog.

Supplies:
Golden Oldies Stamp Set
Birthday Count Stamp Set
Kiwi Kiss, Basic Grey, Whisper White, Baja Breeze Card Stock
Walk in the Park Designer Series Paper
Basic Grey Corduroy Brad

April Stamp Club

Since there was some scheduling conflicts with one of my club dates I am having both of my Stamp Clubs back to back this week. Last night was my Monday club and tonight is my Tuesday club.

This is what we will be making tonight. We will be using the Matchbox die, the Scallop Circle punch, Walk in the Park Designer Series Paper, and the Great Friend Stamp Set. The card layout is from last Wednesday's Card Sketch Challenge at www.Splitcoaststampers.com

Two of the ladies in my club tonight have a birthday today, Happy Birthday Stacey and Cyndi! Hope you have a wonderful day. What a great way to spend a birthday, creating a card and a little box with chocolate. See you tonight.

Manhattan Flower Embossing Folder

I finally had some time to play with a few of my new toys. I used the Manhattan Flower Embossing Folder with my Big Shot on Vellum paper and sponged Summer Sun & Riding Hood Red ink behind the vellum. My favorite roses are the yellow ones with the red tips so that is how I chose my colors today. I also used the new Scallop Oval Punch with the Oval All Stamp Set from the Occasions Mini Catalog.

I wish I would have done a better job with my blending of the colors but I was trying to get this done before work today and I guess I didn't pay that much attention to my blending until after I glued it all together. Oh well.

If you don't know already, SU! is having a special promotion from now until the end of the month, when you purchase $40.00 or more in product from the Occasions Mini Catalog you can choose a free item from the Under $10 page from the Spring Summer Catalog on page 208.

Have a great day!

Stampin' Anniversary

March 19th is my SU! demonstrator anniversary. Two years ago I had a SU! party in my home and thought, I can do this. I talked to Eric after everyone had left and he said to go for it. I called Grandma Mary since she is my crafting buddy and she thought it was a good idea and offered to help me purchase my starter kit. I was nervous and didn't know if I could really make this side business work but here I am two years later.

I truly am glad I found SU! and their products. I truly believe they have some of the greatest stamp sets, great coordinating card stock, ink, and designer paper. I've met some wonderful people just because I am a demonstrator. Well needless to say I am looking forward to many more years as a SU! demo.

In celebration of my 2 years with SU! I want to offer all of you a 20% Discount on an item of your choice from any of the current catalogs. This offer is only good for one week, so make sure to place your order by March 25th. (You will need to place the order directly through me because my website will not register the discount since it is a personal discount.)

Thank you for your business. You all are awesome!

Happy SU! Anniversary to me!

Friends 24-7

I have been busy creating new projects, just wish I had more time to upload them. This past weekend I had my Scrapbook class, Monday was Stamp Club, and last night Sarah had a SU! workshop. So needless to say, I have been busy and my week isn't over yet! Tomorrow morning I will be flying to Sacramento but I will be back on Saturday. What a great week! When I get home I will need to prep for my Tuesday Stamp Club, the fun just never ends!

Well I wanted to share a card I made. I just love this new Stamp Set, Friends 24-7 and the coordinating wheel.
I've noticed that I use Baja Breeze all the time. I am going to be very sad when the In Colors change in July. I will have to stock up on card stock. Which reminds me I need to order more soon.
Have a great day.

Be sure if you order online that you enter the Sale-a-bration sets you want. If you don't get prompted, or forget to enter them, let me know right away so we can be sure you receive them. And do go straight to my web site to get the very best prices on shipping and product.

Also available today is the
Manhattan Flower Textured Impressions Die (114517, $7.95, p. 202 of the Spring/Summer Idea Book & Catalog), and coming soon - pop-up dies for the Big Shot.

Scrapbook Class

I have a scrapbook class this coming weekend.
Don't forget to RSVP your spot by Monday, February 23rd if you haven't already done so.

The first layout is using the Cheap Talk Stamp Set and the Good Morning Sunshine Paper. I just love these little birds!

The next Layout is using the Sunshine Garden Scrapbook kit. No stamps or ink were even used on this layout. I used a corduroy button for the center of the flower.
Now I am off to finish up the third layout. I was thinking an Easter layout but we'll see what inspiration I get.

Scrapin Idea & Valentine Treats

I made this scrapbook page and the treat boxes for my Monday Stamp Club.

I used the Sweet Nothings Simply Scrapin' Kit for the scrapbook page. I didn't use any stamping. Everything I needed to make this page was included in the kit with lots more stuff for me to create more pages or cards.

The treat boxes were cut out with the Bag with Scallops die and my Big Shot die cut machine. I used the Love You Much Stamp Set, Candy Lane Designer Series Paper and Riding Hood Red Ribbon. Hope you enjoy the ideas!

Now I need to prepare for my upcoming Tuesday Stamp club....
