Almost Easter

Since Easter is this Sunday, I am working on a couple of projects. One is for the kids in the Nursery and the other is for one of the Nursery workers at church.

I really do appreciate the people that volunteer in our church nursery. It allows me to stay in a whole service. Malachi is just to noisy or rambunctious on most Sundays and I teach on Wednesday nights. Without these loyal ladies I wouldn't be able to teach the College age class for our midweek service. Anyway, I know it is always tougher to miss out on special occasion services so I thought I'd make the person that is scheduled this Sunday a special little gift.

I started out with the BItty Box because I knew a couple of pieces of Ghirardelli chocolates would fit in there. I used the Easter Blossoms stamp set to decorate the box. I don't know why I didn't use a pink or the So Saffron color as my main color since this is for a lady but I oh well, Marina Mist is a beautiful blue color. I did pop up the center egg to add a little extra dimension to the box. I guess I need to run to the store tomorrow to pick up that chocolate. I might just need to buy some for myself too.

After I made the box I decided that a thank you card needed to be made and it needed to match so here is my card. Only thing I did different is use a different ribbon. So simple.

The kids in the nursery are under 2 & under so an Easter egg hunt really won't work so I am making them a little gift that will include some cracker gold fish but I haven't even started those. That project will take a little more work since there is several kids. I hope to share that project with you before the weekend, I shall return....

The color combo is gorgeous! Love the stamped background, too. I'm sure they will appreciate your gift and the effort you put into them. Very pretty! :)

Blue/yellow/white is one of my favorite classic combos. It always looks good. Great projects! Tfs :)
