December Stylin' Stampin' Squad Blog Hop

I am so excited for you have decided to come by and join me for the Stylin' Stampin' Squad Holiday Hop. This group of demonstrators are awesome! Make sure to let them know it! We have been doing this Blog hop for a year now and I think it just keeps getting better.

My first project is a card using the No Peeking Stamp set, I was inspired to make this card after seeing a card done by Marcee Rodgers. I didn't find a blog for her so I can't link you directly to her. I didn't copy her card completely but I did use the same colors and stamp set. I love the way my card turned out, it is so cheery and cute.

Items Used:
Stamp Set: No Peeking
Paper: Gumball Green, Very Vanilla, Cherry Cobbler, Festival of Prints DSP stack
Ink: Gumball Green, Basic Black, Cherry Cobbler, Early Espresso
Other: 7/8" Cotton Ribbon

My next project are these cute little gift card holders. When someone mentioned in a Facebook thread that the Petite Pocket die can hold a gift card I was skeptical. I went to my craft room pulled out the die and cut one out, glued the edges and grabbed a gift card to try it out. Sure enough, they fit perfectly! Since I had a boutique this past weekend I whipped out some gift card holders to sell. I didn't make very many and I wish I would have made more but oh well. I sold out of these and got a special order for more.

So if you have gift cards to give away this Christmas why not make some with the Petite Pocket die.

Items Used
Stamp Set: Scentsational Season, No Peeking
Card Stock: Cherry Cobbler, Gumball Green, Island Indigo, Early Espresso, Very Vanilla, Festival of Prints DSP stack
Ink: Cherry Cobbler, Gumball Green, Early Espresso, Soft Suede
Other: Big Shot, Holiday Collection dies, Oval punch, Tags Sizlit, Petite Pocket die

Make sure to keep hopping and visit my friend Tonya's blog, she always has cute projects to share.

I think the gift card holders is the perfect use for that Petite Pocket die! I love the way you decorated yours. And your card is the cutest! I haven't used either stamp from that set yet, but a CASE of your card should fix that.

Hugs,

Terry

Thank you Rose, you are so sweet. I love your card. I didn't get the No Peeking set but am wishing I did. I will resist this close to Christmas though. I finally ordered the Petite Pockets die when it was on sale and will be sure and remember that they fit a gift card when I get it. It is no surprise the gift card holders sold well they are super cute! Love how much variety you get from the Festival of Prints DSP. Thanks for sharing.

Love your projects! I'm still waiting for the Petite Pocket die. I love your gift card holders and wish I had ordered the die before it went on b/o. It won't be here in time for this years craft sales but I will definitely put it to use for next year. Thank you for sharing.

Ugh. I think my first comment got eaten up in cyber space, so I'll try again...

Love the idea for the petite pocket as a gift card holder. I'll have to try it! Love your designs...simple, but sweet! I also really love your card. Whenever I see the "No Peeking" set being use, I wish I would have gone ahead and ordered. So many stamp choices!! :)
